PIR wanted to optimize resources and simplify their software stack. One key initiative to achieve this effort was to migrate their business processes from Salesforce, their legacy system, to monday.com CRM.  

Reverse Demo for Requirements Gathering 

 

The primary goal was to execute a “lift and shift” of existing functionality and features from the legacy CRM to monday.com while building a platform ready for growth with future capabilities. This required careful translation of Salesforce workflows into monday.com’s boards and automation.  

 

This also required scrutiny of PIR’s data model, along with samples of their data, to understand the data complexity that we needed to support and migrate.

Scalable Solution 

 

The CopperHill team successfully completed the migration, focusing on replicating core functionality while ensuring a positive user experience for the PIR teams using the new application: 

  • Core CRM and Case Management: Implemented standard CRM functions (leads, accounts, contacts) and an account-to-account relationship board to manage their domain registrar groupings. Basic, scalable case management was also established. 

  • Complex Channel Program Management: Configured a critical, multi-step approval workflow that required custom automations and monday.com apps in addition to standard features. 

  • Champion Training: Both user training and administrator training to encourage rapid user adoption and confidence in the scalability of the platform.
