BACKCopperHill and Salesforce Volunteer at Forget Me Not Farm
We had the opportunity to volunteer with Salesforce in Santa Rosa, CA to help get Forget Me Not Farm ready for summer!
The Forget Me Not Farm offers animal-assisted therapeutic activities along with horticultural therapy. Their goal is to provide a safe haven for children, animals, and plants to learn and heal. The farm brings in groups of at-risk and abused children from 15 different Social Service agencies across Sonoma County and allows them to interact with the animals and plants for hour-long sessions.

CopperHill Director of Sales, Kevin Kleinman, put his skills to the test as he worked on renovating the farm for its summertime programs. The group spent much of their time prepping the animal stalls and surrounding areas for the upcoming summer season. Not only did the group offer landscaping and gardening services, but they also met and interacted with the farm animals, and truly understood how impactful this farm is for at-risk youth. Shoveling gravel and rocks into wheel barrels to then eventually be laid in the animal stalls was just the beginning of what would be a fun and gratifying day for all the volunteers!

Overall, this was an awesome experience, and we want to thank Forget Me Not Farm and Salesforce for allowing us to be a part of this opportunity.
