CopperHill welcomes Hiring Our Heroes alum Ashley Voss as a Consultant

CopperHill is excited to announce that Ashley Voss has joined the team as a full-time Consultant. She started working with CopperHill in June 2021 as a member of the Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program where she gained hands-on Salesforce experience with the support of an expert team. 

“We are very excited to welcome Ashley as a full-time Consultant at CopperHill. Ashley is a fast learner,” describes Andrew Vose, CEO and Co-Founder of CopperHill. “She showed a lot of enthusiasm to understand new parts of the Salesforce platform, our consulting process, and how we build solutions during her fellowship with CopperHill. Most importantly, Ashley understands how customer needs and challenges are considered at every stage in our projects.”

Prior to starting her fellowship with Hiring Our Heroes at CopperHill, Ashley obtained her Salesforce Administrator Certification. She used resources such as the Salesforce Trailhead Military, Udemy.com, and Focus on Force to prepare for the program while still working full time. 

“I came across the Hiring Our Heroes program through the Blue Star Families Spouseforce network. I was looking to transition my career into something more technical without the need for an advanced degree,” explains Ashley. She worked with Salesforce as an end-user and was aware of the tremendous growth the company had over the last several years. “This seemed like the perfect opportunity to develop a new skill set and learn through experience.” 

Ashley was drawn to CopperHill because of its collaborative, team-oriented approach. “I noticed this immediately,” she says. “The team is so knowledgeable in different areas, it is a great opportunity to learn and hear different insights and perspectives.” Ashley also appreciated how involved and attentive the CopperHill leadership team is. “The Partners really seem to care about their employees and the company. The way they discuss business processes and encourage knowledge sharing fosters a really positive work environment,” she describes.

Before transitioning to Salesforce consulting, Ashley worked in the healthcare/insurance space, the behavioral health industry, and in education. She has a BA in Sociology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a BS in Elementary Education from Winston-Salem State University, and obtained her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition to her Salesforce Administrator Certification, Ashley is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Outside of work, Ashley enjoys home improvement and re-decoration projects. She lives with her family in Apex, North Carolina.
